Remote ANSWER BACK Initiation System Smart-BFAS
The remote answer back initiation system BFAS represents a compact, answer back alternative to
standard transmitting devices, such as the Combifire.
The system consists of the transmitting and programming device SPG and receiver BFAE-AS4. The system comes with a transceiver module for answer back communication. Thus the range of the remote controlled initiation between transmitter and receiver can be tested from the transmission site. Additionally the transmitting and programming device SPG can be used for unidirectional initiation also. Ten receiver program sites (ID) can be administered and controlled. The control menu is handled by keyboard fields and a double-spaced display. The ID’s can be programmed with individual delay times of 0 to 255 seconds.
The initiation can be done alternatively selective or in groups. The remote controlled initiation device BFAE-AS4 is designed to initiate electronic blasting caps ESK3 and electrical blasting caps, like the German DM 42, is initiated by radio frequency and can be used for both unidirectional and answer back initiation. The BFAE-AS4 is a compact reusable version with replaceable batteries.
1673 Remote Firing Device
Safety is our biggest motivation behind our RFD designs, allowing engineers to initiate a blast for up to 3-5 miles, clear of fly rock and debris. Significantly reduce your costs by eliminating excess lead-in lines between the explosives and the initiator, applicable for surface blasting and underground mining applications via a leaky feeder system. Available features such as sequential firing, motion detection and GPS to increase safety and production.
